Welcome to McDougall Hideaway A peaceful rural escape just 10 minutes from Ballarat Set on six acres in a secluded enclave of just ten homes, McDougall Hideaway offers the perfect blend of privacy, space, and comfort. This tranquil retreat feels a world away, yet you're only 5 minutes from restaurants, a supermarket, and a bottle shop, with taxis and Ubers readily available. A tree-lined 100m driveway framed by ornamental pear trees leads to the home, set well back from the road for complete seclusion. Originally built in 2000 for a large family, the house is now a warm and welcoming space for guests to relax and reconnect. Inside, enjoy two reverse-cycle air-conditioners and a wood fire heater in the games room, a cozy lounge with a large TV, DVD player, 200+ DVDs, books, and board games. The fully equipped kitchen and dining area includes a stove, stovetop, dishwasher, refrigerator, and pantry. A modern bathroom offers both a bath and shower with plenty of hot water, and there’s an internal laundry with washer and dryer. The games room is packed with entertainment: billiards, air hockey, foosball, table tennis, 10-pin bowls, coits, and over 50 board games. The securely fenced yard provides a safe space for kids and pets, and there’s ample on-site parking.
