Down the hall and through to the open plan dining and living area with air conditioning and heating. A large dining table encourages meals at home, while a TV and wood fireplace guarantee cosy nights in. Gorgeous French doors open to the backyard, creating a seamless transition with the outdoors. Enjoy an afternoon wine in the garden soaking up that crisp country air. The country kitchen couples ornate details with top quality appliances to cook up a feast, and guests can make the most of the region’s excellent local produce on the BBQ or fire pit. Two queen bedrooms and a third bedroom with a double have been thoughtfully designed with Parisian flourishes, while pops of colour throughout and unique art prints add to this home’s special character. Sleep easy no matter what the season with a combination of air-conditioning and heating. The first bedroom benefits from grand French doors flowing to the front veranda and bathing the space in natural light. Board games, a high chair and kids’ tableware are provided. Feel free to request additional amenities for an extra fee, such as a porta cot, cot linen and towel, a high chair, or a rollaway bed suitable for a small child, including bedding and linen.

Nestled just under four hours’ drive west of Sydney, the town of Mudgee is renowned for its wineries and flourishing food scene. Its winemaking dates to the 19th century, with notable cellar doors including Lowe Wines, Robert Stein Vineyard and Logan Wines. Meander the colonial streetscapes filled with produce stores, cafes and boutiques, and shop for local produce at the Mudgee Find Foods Farmers’ Markets, held in the picturesque grounds of Robertson Park. While visiting the region, you can explore World Heritage-listed Wollemi National Park, home to scenic walking trails, canoeing and kayaking tours.
