Experience everything that the world's most liveable city has to offer. Melbourne is known for its cafés and restaurants, and the apartment is close to plenty of both. Dine on the Yarra, visit China Town further up Little Bourke St, or enjoy authentic Italian on Lygon St (Melbourne's renown Italian district). If shopping is your thing, check out the department stores in Bourke St Mall, the factory outlets in Docklands (both are an easy tram ride inside the free tram zone), or the boutique shopping on Chapel St (3 train stops away). The 86 tram stops right outside the apartment, waiting to take you to the iconic St Kilda Beach and Luna Park. Melbourne is also known for its hidden laneway bars and quirky drinking establishments, all located an easy distance from the apartment, within the CBD. If a day adventure is your thing, drive an hour out of the city and you'll find Yarra Valley wineries, Dandenong Ranges, forest ranges, and (in winter) cross country skiing!
