Enjoy FREE Coonawarra wine,Netflix and WiFi, and a very central location. Freshly styled while retaining the old world character and charm. The unit was built in 1883, a time when Saint Mary MacKillop called Penola home. All the comforts expected for a relaxing stay. Walk to galleries, pubs, cellar doors, cafes, restaurants. Artists, winemakers and creative types call this area home.
I love this gorgeous area, and really enjoy helping other people have fun on their stay in this area.
This is a quiet street, names after John Riddoch, one of the founding fathers of the Coonawarra Penola wine area. The unit is within easy walking distance to local historic attractions and cellar doors, as well as local cafes, bakery, pubs and Restaurants. The John Riddoch center is 200m, Mary MacKillop Center is 200m, Petticoat Lane is 250m, Pipers Restaurant 150m, Royal Oak hotel is 100m. The unit is located on the route of the famous Penola Historic Building Walking Tour, so you can start the tour directly accross the road, World renown Coonawarra wine area is 10 min drive , where you can visit many cellar doors, stylish resturants and events. Mt Gambier with the pristine Blue Lake is 50 km and Naracoorte caves are 40km, the township and beaches of Robe are 35 minutes away by car.
