My family has lived in the area for generations, since the 1850's. I just love living on the far North West coast of Tassie. My hobbies include sailing and canoeing.

Property information

Enjoy relaxing in this spacious 1950's classic absolute beach front house. Sip wine on the North facing sheltered deck in front of a roaring fire as the sun sets over Stanley. Be lulled off to sleep by the gentle lapping of the waves on your beach, just 10 meters from your bedroom window. Relax in the two person free standing bath with views out over the waves to Stanley. Your amazing beach House boasts a sunny North facing aspect with 180 degree water views across Sawyer Bay to the historic port of Stanley, just 10 km to the North West and view to the more modern Port Latta, just 3 km to your North East. Stanley View Beach House has free Wi-Fi and blue tooth stereo. Your sunny beach house has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, two toilets, a huge bath tub, full laundry and kitchen, air conditioning, cosy wood fire, , DVD, PlayStation, 17 channel satellite TV. Swim off your own beach or fish from the front veranda.

Apart from having some of Tassie's best beaches, fishing, surfing, bush walking, 4 x 4 driving tracks there are lots of things to see and do!..... such as.. Rocky Cape National Park ( just 10 km East ) Dip Falls and the Big Tree ( just 25 km South ) Stanley, historic village, The Nut Chairlift, Highfield House etc just a 15 minute drive West ) Arthur River Cruises.. (15 km into Australia's largest temporate rain forest ) approx. 1 hour West. Woolnorth Tours ( tour Australia's largest dairy farm, Van Dieman's Land Co, 1825. on the North West tip of Tassie. Allandale Gardens ( just 30 minutes West ) Tarkine Drive ( drive the loop around "The Tarkine Rainforest'' ( Australias Largest ) 3 hours return. Trowutta Caves ( just 45 minutes drive ) Cradle Mountain ( just 2 hours )
