Sian and Peter West are Principals of Ocean Blue Coastal Retreats and discovered the Mornington Peninsula in 2004 when purchasing a holiday home as an investment. In 2006, Blue Moon Cottages was purchased and a group of four cottages formed the core of the business. Since then, more accommodation was added and we now have a portfolio of more than 40 properties. Their Mornington Peninsula knowledge comes from living on the peninsula since 2008, and working closely with Tourism Victoria and Mornington Peninsula Tourism has built an award-winning tourism business. They are both “hands on” in the business ensuring both guests and owners are provided with attention to detail at every level.

Longer stay discounts available when booking direct. We could spend all day relaxing in the make shift distillery or even head to the many distilleries around in the Dromana area. The single-story house is perfect for a few couples or a few families to spend their time playing pool, swimming and relaxing down at the beach. We love to walk the 15 minutes to Provincia Food Store for drinks, coffee, food and then spend the day down at the beach. In winter we light the fire pit and sit around toasting marshmallows and spinning yarns. Please note there is a security camera at the backyard of the property the Security Camera is not recording and is not in use. Included in your package is a bottle of sparkling wine and small local produce hamper for you to enjoy. Its a very short walk to the gorgeous Safety Beach - a lovely swimming spot and iconic bathing boxes. Tassel's Cove Dog friendly beach is also super close. Dromana Drive in is just down the road so pack the kids in the car for some old fashioned fun at the drive in. We just love the pizza and gelato at Zero95 in Dromana, just around the corner, so do yourself a favour and plan a night off cooking! Own transport recommended, limited public transport.
