Property information

Stunning views and convenience in one, this idyllic fully self-contained hillside unit comprises the entire down-stairs floor of a master-built house. (Please note: the upstairs level is occasionally occupied.) Relax in the luxury of the bright and airy living room, with large windows making the most of the views without compromising on comfort. The whitewashed internal brick walls create a beautiful sense of space and while the large wood heater and open-plan kitchen and living area make this the perfect spot to unwind. Enjoy the benefits of a fully equipped kitchen containing ample quality items, and full cooking facilities including an oven, stove top, microwave and full-sized fridge. Airconditioning, wall heaters, portable fans, and a large wood heater ensure year-round comfort. Out on the front patio, enjoy the unique outdoor setting containing historic local church pews whilst basking in the sunshine, watching the weather roll in or being amazed by the spectacular sunsets over the cliffs of Mt Buffalo. Just a short walk or bike ride from your secret abode, the famed Murray to Mountains Rail Trail takes you into the beautiful townships of Bright or Porepunkah, or the Ringer Reef winery or the Buffalo Berry Farm. No matter the design of your visit, this property is the ideal accommodation topped off by one of the best views in the valley. Bright Escapes reserves the right to hold Credit Card details on file as security for any damages, excess cleaning and any extra charges that may be incurred during your stay.

These card details will be securely kept for 14 days after departure and any damages or additional charges will be charged to the card within that time frame if needed. Once the 14 days after departure has passed the card details are automatically deleted from our secure system.

Some properties require an additional cash bond to be held (advertised on individual listings if applicable.

Bright Escapes reserves the right to claim compensation from the credit card provided in the event of:

The accommodation is not left in the condition it was found in relation to building, cleanliness and grounds.

This also applies to any furniture and fittings that are not returned to their original position.

If excess cleaning is required beyond our allocated cleaning time of a property due to lack of care from guests, this is inclusive of extra cleaning required due to pets (see full pet terms below)

If the amount of bedding that is used exceeds the number of guests that have been noted on your booking without notifying Bright Escapes.

If keys are not returned to the lockbox at the property, or a key is lost or damaged, a $25.00 fee will apply.

Guests that fail to depart by 10am without having made prior arrangements with Bright Escapes will be charged for the time our cleaning staff are kept waiting to gain access to the property.

The BBQ is not clean, a $75.00 fee will apply.

When finalising your booking, the primary guest acknowledges that they have read and understood these terms and conditions and that they are responsible for the compliance of those rules by all other guests as well.

WIFI Conditions (Applies to properties that provide WIFI)

Whilst we do anticipate WIFI will be available during your stay, it is not guaranteed. WIFI availability is dependent on the

network provider.

Bright Escapes will not be held accountable for network errors.

Strict NO PARTY Policy

All disruptive parties and events are prohibited. In the event of disruption to neighbours, Bright Escapes will gain possession of the property immediately and guests will be asked to leave with no refund.

Keys

There will be 2 sets of keys at the property. 1 set in the key lockbox for access, the second set is located inside. Please ensure you return the lockbox key set to the lockbox immediately after accessing the property.

This will be your backup key in the event of lockout!

Please use the keys located inside the property during your stay.

$100.00 call out fee will apply for lockouts when keys have not been returned to lockbox.

Lost Property

Please ensure personal items are not left behind. A handling fee of $80.00 plus postage will be incurred for return of property.

Firewood

Firewood is provided to all properties that offer a wood fire from 1 May - 30 September. Outside of this period you are welcome to purchase firewood at your own expense.

If the allocation of firewood is used up, guests will be required to purchase more if desired.

Smoking & Vaping

Bright Escapes has a strict no smoking or vaping policy inside all our houses.

Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
