Wattle Tree Cottage stands on a peaceful quarter-acre gardened block, with tall trees, gated gardens and wildlife. Picturesque in the warmer months, cozy, warm, and quiet in the cooler months it is far enough from Adelaide to call it a country retreat, yet close enough to be in the city in 20 minutes.
I am passionate about our beautiful hills retreat and have a wonderful gardener and cleaner to ensure the property is beautiful for your stay. If you should have any issues during your stay I am always available to respond to questions and assist you.
There are countless options for a great pub lunch just down the road at The Bridgewater Hotel or within a few kms try the Stirling, Crafers, Uraidla, or Stanley Bridge pubs for a great meal. Take a left-hand turn at Mount Barker Road and you will be in Harndorf in a few short minutes Adelaide's historic German settlement. Visit the Harndorf Fruit & Vegetable Market to purchase a wide range of wonderful produce along with meat and bakery goods. Numerous wineries within minutes of the property are waiting to be explored, such as Nepenthe, Bird in Hand, Sidewood Estate, and Hahndorf Hill to name just a few.
