This charming holiday home in Gouvy, Belgian Ardennes, was once a local grocery store and still retains its welcoming, homely charm. Ideally located next to the Steinbach church and opposite a beautifully renovated castle, it’s a peaceful retreat for large families or groups. With 9 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and space for up to 20 guests, the house features a private swimming pool, terraces at the front and back, and a large garden with a BBQ area, play tower, trampoline, sun loungers, and an above-ground pool. The home offers direct access to scenic walking and cycling routes. In winter, cross-country skiing is possible nearby. Explore year-round destinations like Houffalize, Durbuy, La Roche, Bastogne, and Clervaux in Luxembourg, where a white castle stands proudly in the valley of the Clerf river. For nature lovers, the forest is just 2 km away and a lake is within 3 km. Restaurants are 3 km off, and grocery stores and the town centre are 7 km from the property. Inside, the former shop space now serves as a spacious kitchen with modern appliances and a dining area. The cozy living room includes a lounge corner with a TV and DVD player.
