Company info

For your convenience and freedom I work with a self check in system. You will receive a code to access the property and a code from a key box containing the key of your chosen accommodation. The room is private. Bathroom & kitchen is shared with other guests. My accommodation is suitable for short or long stays, ideal for students or tourists who want to plan a city trip to cities in Belgium. There is a Merelbeke train station at 10 minutes walking distance from my accommodation. I wish you a pleasant stay!

Welcome to homestayGent, if you want to stay in a homely style at budget-friendly prices then you no longer have to search. Taste our offer. My accommodation is located in a spacious apartment that is divided into both single and double rooms with a communal kitchen. Most rooms have a shared bathroom. Now there is also a double room with an ensuite bathroom and a single room with an external private bathroom available!

Neighborhood info

The Flora is the most northern part of Merelbeke, bordering Melle vogelhoek and Gentbrugge in Ghent. The Flora is separated in the south from Merelbeke Center by the ring canal with its well-known lock complex. In the west, the Scheldt, including the pleasure marina, forms the border between Ghent and Merelbeke. The Flora belongs to the urban outskirts of Ghent, but many green zones make it attractive to stay here. In addition to the many neighborhood parks and corridors, the Liedermeerpark and the Ten Berg castle domain, which is partly accessible to the public, are two green lungs for fauna and flora. Many small roads and slow roads also make it possible to move around on foot or by bicycle in a quiet and car-free way. By bike you are in Ghent Center in 15 minutes!
