Luciano is a Carioca who appreciates the old samba culture and its Afro-Brazilian roots. I look forward to welcoming guests who are interested in the joie de vivre and sometimes also the simplicity of normal Rio, who stroll through the old streets and also contribute in a spirit of solidarity and environmental awareness to keeping it beautiful for everyone.

Situated in the green hills of Santa Teresa right next to the Centro and Lapa, the Guattari House offers 7 beautiful rooms with a colonial flair. In addition to a living room that can be used by all guests and a bar room, it offers 3 terraces, a swimming pool and a small garden with a view of the center of Rio de Janeiro. It is a place to experience the culture and beauty of Rio and also to relax and immerse yourself in the nightlife.

Neighbourhood information

Santa Teresa is an old colonial district with magnificent buildings, located right next to the center of Rio de Janiero. As a district with museums, cultural institutions and samba events, it has a magical effect on artists, musicians and tourists. During the day, the stores and ateliers and the nearby nature park are inviting. At night, you can wander through the excellent restaurants and bars or immerse yourself in the hustle and bustle of neighboring Lapa.
