Wheelchair lift with grade-level entrance provides access to all levels. Guests enjoy our linen duvets - bed linens changed every 3 days for same guests. Spacious interior is enhanced with many windows inviting sunlight in. Geothermal heating/air conditioning provides constant temperature. Heat recovery air exchange with filtration provides for clean, fresh air. Large yard contains trees, shrubs, flowers, and vegetables front and back. Our property is inspected regularly by our provincial B&B association.
Ten (10) years experience operating our B&B, with numerous repeat guests. We enjoy cleaning and maintaining our home. Cooking, baking, and gardening are special interests. We hold updated safe food handler certificates.
We are located across the street from Assiniboine Forest, a large urban forest containing walking trails in west-south Winnipeg. Close by is Assiniboine Park and Zoo which includes the Journey to Churchill exhibit featuring polar bears (1.2 km, 16 minutes walking). Fort Whyte Alive, a nature conservancy featuring bison and walking trails/nature exhibits is 7km south. Forks Market, downtown Winnipeg, is 11km (20 minutes by car). Airport is 9km (15 minutes by car).
