WALK, run/jog, bike to University of Alberta, U of A hospital, Whyte Ave., 2 groceries stores, river valley trails and 2 LRT (train) stations - all within 5-20 mins walk. Quick train access to downtown/arena district, Southgate Shopping Mall and U of A if you want a train ride instead of a walk. Bright, spacious, secure and well kept home to share with others. Hardwood floors on main, loads of windows/natural light and IN-FLOOR HEAT in lower level. Warm and cozy in winter and crispy cool in summer. Onsite laundry for ease and convenience. Perfect for local, international students or young professionals who like a shared space and need quick easy access to U of A, U of A hospital, Kaye Edmonton Clinic or downtown business/arena district. Centrally located for access to Misericordia & Royal Alex Hospitals.
By the standards of 30 years ago - I was well travelled. By today's standards - maybe not quite so much :). I have lived in (not just travelled through) Asia, Europe, Africa and North America and set foot in many countries. Today, travel involves welcoming travelers, professionals and international and local students into my home in Edmonton. I have welcomed individuals from England, Mexico, Norway, Sweden, Russia, China, Spain, Belgium, Switzerland, Korea, United States, Germany, France, Indonesia, Japan, Qatar/Ukraine, Bulgaria/Norway, Brazil and Kazakhstan as well as many from across Canada and my home province of Alberta.
The neigbourhood is a centrally located prestigious, safe, secure area with lovely old growth trees, a surrounding green space, river valley trail access for walks/runs/bikes, and quick access to buses, trains(LRT) shops/cafespubs/arts/culture. I Finish your run at Gracious Goods Cafe, on the corner of 115 Street and 76 Ave and run in for a rejuvenating drink. Also centrally located with bus and LRT (train) access to Misericordia and Royal Alex Hospitals and just a walk to Whyte Ave for days off.
