Located at the summit of Mount Pilatus at 7 feet above sea level, the Hotel Bellevue is reachable by aerial tramway or the world's steepest cog railway in summer. It features a terrace with panoramic views over the Swiss Alps and the bay of Lucerne. The restaurant serves characteristic Swiss specialties. Half-board includes breakfast and a 4-course dinner. Please note that the hotel can only be reached by aerial cableway from Kriens. The last ride is at 17:00 in summer until the end of October and at 16:00 in winter. Please check the schedules in advance.

The hotel can also be reached by cogwheel train from Alpnachstad, except during the winter season. Please check the schedules in advance.

The aerial cableways may be temporarily inoperable in case of strong winds.

The tickets for ascent and descent can be purchased at a discounted rate if you show your booking confirmation.

The à-la-carte restaurant is only open during the day.
