Set on the foothills of the Allgäu Alps, this country-style guest house enjoys a peaceful setting in the beautiful Trettachtal valley. The country house is located 7.5 km south of Oberstdorf and is an ideal starting point for many hikes. Housed in a traditional Bavarian country house, Landhaus Spielmannsau features bright rooms with solid wooden furnishings. Each morning, a hearty buffet breakfast is served in Landhaus Spielmannsau’s inviting dining room. Meals typical of the Allgäu region are prepared in the restaurant. Younger guests can discover farmyard animals in Spielmannsau’s petting zoo, and can even go on pony rides. Free on-site parking is provided by Landhaus Spielmannsau. The rural Trettach valley is vehicle free, except for guests.
