The Encke Carré is very popular due to its many green spaces and extensive walking paths. In addition, a large playground provides fun for the little ones. There are plenty of shopping facilities, banks and doctors' surgeries. 5 tram and 3 bus lines run through the neighbourhood. The city centre can therefore be reached in just a few minutes. The motorway is only 3 minutes away by car. A Magdeburg branch railway station is within walking distance (a few minutes' walk). From here you can reach the main railway station in just 5 minutes by train. The 62.5-hectare park-like Westfriedhof cemetery, which is 600 metres away, is ideal for a stroll.
