Gjerrild is located at the tip of the nose of Djursland, that is, with coast on several sides. Look forward to wonderful swimming days and fishing trips, which you can reach on foot or by bike. Further inland on the peninsula you will encounter hilly beech forests and the disused Sostrup Castle monastery, tranquil lakes and abundant wildlife. The area around Gjerrild is not overcrowded and is easily accessible via disused railroad lines and small roads. Also visit Mols Bjerge National Park in the southern part of the peninsula and experience the beautiful nature while hiking.
