From the terrace of the house you have a view over the Lillebælt and Ærø. An inviting and child-friendly sandy beach is within walking distance. Mommark is an old fishing village with a cozy marina, which is a paradise for both anglers and sailors. Here you can sit and enjoy the atmosphere with an ice cream or a glass of wine - and if you are hungry, the restaurant offers a delicious lunch or dinner by the water. Mommark is located in a scenic area where you can fish, swim, sail, cycle or walk along the Gendarmstien towards Sønderborg or Alsstien towards Nordborg. If you are looking for cultural activities, you can visit the Universe adventure park or the city of Sønderborg. In the city, you can explore the charming waterfront promenade that passes Sønderborg Castle - a national treasure that tells the story of Sønderjylland, Schleswig and 1864. From nearby Fynshav, you can take a ferry to Fyn or Ærø. For shopping, Flensburg is 50 km away, where the city's long pedestrian zone is worth a visit.
