Hovvig Nature Reserve, a renaturalized wetland, is home to a rich bird life. Grønnehaveskoven forest has a fitness trail, a beautiful dog forest, and the meadow Kongeengen is the source of the spring Thorskilde, which is said to have magical properties. Your children will also be thrilled by a visit to the Odsherred Fire Museum. Nearby, visit Sommerland Sjælland, galleries that are also typical of Odsherreds and Dragsholm Castle from the 13th century. Havnebyen is the only real fishing harbor with cutters and a small smokehouse. Even recreational fishermen always get something on the hook here. In Nykøbing Sjælland you can do good shopping and enjoy the coffee house life. Seal safaris also depart from the harbor in Rørvig.
