Casa do cuco was born with the desire to live and work in coherence with our values and beliefs, far from the crowds and in tune with nature.
We are Camila, Valentín and our son, Iñaki, Argentineans creating a life project in the land of our ancestors, Galicia. In love with its landscapes, its gastronomy and its people, this was absolutly the perfect place for us. In Galicia we were able to find the natural diversity that we were looking for: beaches, mountains, vineyards, rivers, forests...
For a long time we have dreamed and visualised the idea of creating a refuge where encounters full of stories, laughter and anecdotes predominate. The Camino de Santiago was a very important pillar when taking the step.
A few years have passed since that time and we are proud of each step and obstacle that we were overcoming. Now is the time to receive you in our warm refuge with the same love with which it was created.

A traditional Galician stone house from the 19th century that has been restored little by little with a lot of love and dedication.
Located in a natural environment surrounded by forests, rivers and hills, it invites both pilgrims and nature lovers to live an authentic experience and a peaceful rest in the rural Galicia”. Always in communion with our values of respect for rural life, sustainability and love for our mother earth.
Its land of more than 3000m2 with its Galician “Horreo”, the organic garden and the chicken coop; its wood stove and old restored furnitures are essential when it comes to achieving this experience. We would like to make Casa do Cuco a place where you always want to return.

Casa do Cuco is located in a small stone hamlet called Arxerei, surrounded by forests and trails where you can witness agricultural, livestock and forestry activities of all kinds.
The town of Friol with all its basic services is only 10 minutes away by car.
