"Las Letras" neighborhood (also called literary and muses) is an area of the city of Madrid, located in the Cortes neighborhood, in the downtown district of the capital. The area is delimited, to the west, by Calle de la Cruz and Plaza de Jacinto Benavente; to the east, by the Paseo del Prado; to the north, by the career of Saint Jerome; and, to the south, by Atocha street. Some of its most emblematic roads are Calle de las Huertas, Calle del Prado, Calle de Echegaray, and Plaza del Ángel and Plaza de Santa Ana.
