El Cotillo is a small fishing village on the western coast of Fuerteventura. Despite its small size, it has great value for both island residents and visitors: its seafaring flavour, its extensive pristine beaches on one side and the lagoons with crystal clear waters and white sand on the other, the flavour of the sea served in a wide variety of restaurants and especially, the sunset which nature gives us every day make El Cotillo very special. Several beaches surround the village of El Cotillo, having been chosen for several times as some of the best beaches in Europe.
