Arctic Verge is lovingly run by Desley and Janette Sas. Desley, originally from the Netherlands, moved to Finland in 2020 to join Janette, who grew up in nearby Sirkka (Levi) and is a local to Finnish Lapland. With years of experience working in a Lapland resort—Desley in maintenance and Janette as a hotel manager—we decided it was time to pursue something of our own. When we discovered this beautiful property in Äkäslompolo, we knew it was the perfect opportunity to share our passion for hospitality and the Arctic.
With one side of the property as our family residence and the other dedicated to guests, we are always nearby to provide personalized recommendations, help plan your adventures, or simply share our love for this incredible region.
