Property information

Aurora Hut igloos by Invisible Forest Lodge offer experience night and special way to stay close to Lapland’s nature. The igloos are floating on the water in summer and autumn or frozen to the river in winter. From mid August till mid April you may see the Northern Lights right from your bed. Igloo is not luxury accommodation, it is adventure and experience stay under the glass roof. Each igloo is fully heated and designed to be both cozy and modern. Inside you will find a double bed with warm bedding, large windows, and a small seating area. The igloos have a private eco-toilet, no shower, cold water sink. Showers are available in the Spa area. Guests can also use the lodge’s facilities, including Spa with forest view sauna with and outdoor hot pools. The igloos are compact in size, about 12 m², but everything is arranged for comfort. They are ideal for couples looking for a different kind of overnight stay and a romantic atmosphere. Our lodge is adults-only in winter, which creates a quiet and calm setting. We welcome each guest personally and are happy to help with activity planning, local tips, and anything else you might need during your stay.

Invisible Forest Lodge is located just a 10-minute drive from Rovaniemi city centre, combining easy access to town with the quiet of the surrounding forest. Guests enjoy the peaceful nature, riverside views, and the chance to see the Northern Lights without leaving the property. For outdoor activities, the area around the lodge is perfect for hiking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, or simply enjoying the changing Arctic seasons. The central location also makes it easy to join day trips such as husky or reindeer safaris, snowmobile tours, icebreaker cruise in the Gulf of Bothnia and visits to nearby wilderness areas.
