Our Gite, Constantia, is a beautiful, spacious self catering holiday home with a large private swimming pool. The family gîte sleeps 4 and is in a perfect location in the village of Le Somail, just steps from the Canal du Midi. Le Somail is near Narbonne (15 mins) and within easy reach of beaches, lakes and mountains and an ideal base from which to explore the fascinating Minervois region. Great views overlooking vineyards. Le Somail has wonderful facilities right on the doorstep.
Le Somail is a lovely little hamlet located on the Canal du Midi with the most photographed bridge on the Canal. There are four restaurants and an Ice Cream Parlor so you don't have to walk far to eat out. There is a supermarket within a 5 minute drive. There are also day boats for hire on the Canal. Within this area there is lots to explore from the Medieval City of Carcassonne, the Chateaux of the Pyrenees, the historic Cathedral of Narbonne to the nearby Mediterranean beaches.
