The fine print
Water charges are included in the rent within the limit of normal use (on average 148L water/adult/day, see 📊 Average water consumption per person in France in 2023 (selectra.info)). In the event of abnormally high consumption (from 10% additional compared to the average consumption per person), the lessor will invoice the tenant on the basis of the consumption recorded on the meter on the day of departure and at the rate applied by the company water (i.e. 1.4 €/L water). Regarding electricity, 100 kW per day is included in the rental price. An invoice for the charges will be issued to the tenant upon departure and must be paid immediately in the event of significant excess consumption.
