Maison Flamant is a charming traditional French town house that has been sympathetically renovated and extended into an ancient stable block to provide spacious accommodation. There are games rooms, a library, a TV room, terrace and courtyard available for guests to use. The pool is open in May and October but is unheated. It will be closed for the Autumn and Winter months.
We recently retired to France with our 2 dogs, Zola (a small labradoodle) and Obi (a cocker spaniel). We have owned Maison Flamant for 8 years and spent much of that time renovating the property and spending holidays there with family and friends. Now we are looking forward to sharing our home with Bed and Breakfast guests.
Saint-Genies-de-Fontedit is a small, medieval village and the house is set on the edge of the circulade with easy walking access to the bakers, grocers and bar/cafe. A number of beautiful Mediterranean beaches are a half an hour drive away, as are the Black mountains with their rivers and gorges. There are also many delightful nearby towns and villages offering traditional french markets, wineries, churches, gardens and restaurants.
