Old family of the Bessin, former farmer, welcomes travelers from all countries since 1994. Accommodation reopened after refurbishment.

Property information

Holiday house, housed in a building dating from the 18th century. Accommodation in nature, designed for families, for a stay between countryside and sea. The two terraces, on each side of the house, allow you to enjoy the sun and the garden at any time of the day. The living room has a fireplace, sofa, TV (plasma screen), library, exposed beams. Well equipped kitchen for meals. Toilets and bathrooms on the ground floor as well as upstairs.

Neighbourhood information

The house is located in a small village 10 minutes from Bayeux, medieval town (traditional big market on Saturday morning). Ideal location for lovers of hiking (departure of paths, possibilities of loops) like walks to the sea, horseback riding (three equestrian centers within a radius of 10 km) but also history (close to the museums of Bayeux including the Tapisserie, as well as the beaches of the D-Day in Normandy at about 10 km). To the west, Omaha Beach and the American cemetery are 30 minutes away by car. To the east, the Caen Memorial is 20 minutes away. In both cases, direct access by a 4-way). The fishing port of Port-en-Bessin, with its fish hall and its golf course is 20 minutes by car.
