5 Wye Rapids Cottage is a mid-terrace cottage in the village of Symonds Yat in the Wye Valley. The cottage sleeps four people and has one double bedroom and one twin together with family bathroom. Also in the cottage is a fitted kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with electric fire. Outside is off road parking for one car with some visitor parking on a first, come first served basis, a courtyard with furniture and BBQ and shared landscaped gardens with seating areas. Situated in the heart of the Wye Valley, 5 Wye Rapids Cottage is a lovely family holiday cottage all year round. Note: One well-behaved dog welcome. The property only accepts week long bookings between May and September.

Neighbourhood information

The pretty village of Symonds Yat straddles the beautiful River Wye with its natural scenery and magnificent limestone 'rock', popular with climbers and is internationally renowned for its viewpoint. Symonds Yat West is situated overlooking the beautiful Wye Valley, and is close to the magnificent Royal Forest of Dean, England's largest oak forest. This is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, offering numerous trails that can be explored on foot, bicycle or horseback. Caving, abseiling and a high wire rope course are on offer for the more adventurous, whilst fishing, golf, kayaking and canoeing are other popular activities in this unspoilt area.
