Our house is situated within a few minutes walk of Brecon town centre and all local amenities. It's an old house circa 1600 and retains much charm and character, though may be challenging for those with limited mobility. (Please ask if you have concerns). The apartment is within or house but is self contained with three bedrooms, (all en-suite) two doubles and a twin, a kitchen and lounge. We live in the house but have our own separate kitchen, lounge and bedrooms to the rear. There is parking for three cars to the front of the house and further secure parking to the rear if required. We also offer secure bicycle storage.
My wife Gaynor and myself live in the house but have a separate kitchen and living rooms. We both enjoy walking and gardening and are active members of two local theatre groups and keen supporters of local music events and societies.
Brecon is a friendly, lively town with a great deal to offer. It hosts many events and challenges in the surrounding hills and countryside together with a wide range of other activities. We are in the heart of the beautiful Brecon Beacons national park at the confluence of the rivers Hondu and Usk (famed for trout and salmon fishing) and the Brecon to Monmouth canal flows from the basin adjacent to Theatre Brycheiniog. There are quiet lanes for cycling and horse riding, beautiful scenery, amazing views and wonderful walks in all directions.
