Within 0.5 miles, you will find a shop, and within 0.1 miles, a pub, and please note that this is a non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. One well-behaved pet is welcome. Note: There are two steps down and a sloping ceiling in the shower room, please take care. Note: Due to the property’s location, some road noise may be heard. Frodsham, a market town in Cheshire, sits at the base of Overton Hill, overlooking the estuary of the River Mersey, and is only 11 miles from Chester. Domesday Book-mentioned town with a bustling downtown featuring a weekly market, unique boutiques, and well-liked watering holes and pubs. The Sandstone Trail begins outside the Bears Paw pub in the middle of Frodsham and continues for 34 miles through Delamere Forest and on to Whitchurch in the county of Shropshire. Towpath walks along the River Weaver provide access to Dutton Locks and the world-famous Anderton Boat Lift. The North Cheshire Way is a 70-mile trail that runs from the Wirral to the Peak District and is ideal for serious hikers. The historic city of Chester, known as "the jewel of the North West of England," is easily accessible by car and features Roman walls, Chester Cathedral, mediaeval churches, and the charming shopping and tea rooms of the Rows. The city is home to the River Dee, a racetrack, and Grosvenor Park; additionally, a well-liked zoo is located nearby. The beautiful Welsh mountains and coastline, the quaint towns and villages of Cheshire and Shropshire, and the many magnificent courses of the Wirral Peninsula are all within easy driving distance. Another option is to travel the short distance to the Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet Village, where you can shop at over 140 stores, many of which carry name-brand merchandise. This is a great spot, close to many attractions.
