Resting in the historic, East Sussex town of Battle, in the High Weald AONB is Artists Hideaway, a chic, lower-ground-floor apartment that is for ADULTS with/without 2 WELL BEHAVED/TRAINED DOGS only. Styled with contemporary fixtures, lovely accessories, and a variety of local artwork, Artists Hideaway is a well-positioned apartment for exploring the South of England, whilst nestled near the hustle and bustle of the town; two guests are welcomed, ideal for a couple.

With 5* reviews over the last year while on another short term let platform, we are now here! My husband and I really enjoy hosting. We are highly creative couple with 2 very friendly dogs living above the apartment. We won't bother you during your stay, but you are free to ask us anything! My husband's studio is next door to the main property - if interested you can ask to view his works for sale, just let me know in advance! Thank you.

Our property is situated in Battle - a small market town with a big heart and even bigger history. Named to commemorate the most famous conflict on English soil, this compact market town grew up alongside the 1066 battle site, tranquil medieval abbey and surrounding ancient woodlands – largely unchanged to this day. Throughout the centuries we’ve hosted Normans and Saxons, gunpowder plotters and rock stars. Many independent stores on the high street as well as Boots, Costa and Co-Op, really worth exploring. 15 mins drive to the sea & beaches of Bexhill, St Leonards and Hastings, the coastline stretches all the way to Camber Sands & Dungeness. A stunning part of the world! Great pubs, restaurants, walks & shopping + art galleries & farm shops, we have everything in East Sussex.
