The perfect bolthole for 2, Athelas, is a self-catering cottage set within the grounds of our home. Complete with a fully equipped kitchen, private entrance and cosy log burning stove, it's the perfect place to relax. With a stylish and contemporary feel, Athelas boasts every convenience and is an ideal base to explore the stunning beauty of the North Yorkshire Moors and coast. With views over an established garden and valley, its the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine and unwind.
Your hosts are Katy and Stephen Simpson. We enjoy travelling and hosting and live in the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors National Park. In our home in Glaisdale we offer an ensuite room with bed and breakfast and independent self catering accommodation so you can make the right choice for your budget and preferences.
Set in the North Yorkshire Moors National park, Glaisdale is ideally situated for guest to enjoy moorland, forest, dale and coast. We are 20 minutes from Whitby, with excellent access to some gorgeous destinations like Robin Hoods Bay and Pickering.
