Ballymacdoe Cottage is hidden gem just five minutes’ walk from the beach in Cushendall, a pretty village on the stunning north coast of Ireland. The comfortable, well equipped cottage is all at ground floor level and sleeps six people, along with well-behaved pets. The accommodation has three bedrooms, a lounge/diner, kitchen, bathroom with shower, large private gardens and parking space. Satellite TV, WiFi and heating are provided and a front patio provides spectacular views of the seascape and landmarks including Cushendall. The cottage is situated in a 'cul de sac' so quite and safe for all. You are beside nature at its best. Everywhere in the village is within walking distance. So what is available: post office, library, three restaurants, three pubs, shops, two ATM's, two hairdressers, chemists, medical centre, golf course, sailing club, Ardclinis adventure centre, Ruairi Og hurling pitch, Church of Ireland, Catholic Church, Presbyterian church, great walks. All is on your doorstep for touring, walking, cycling, fishing, sailing or just relaxing and enjoy all that surrounds you.
I Cultural Officer for St Brigid's GAC. We have organised events entitled 'St Brigids Miscellany' and 'Brigid Sessions at Harlequins'. These cultural events are evenings of: music, story telling, poetry, singing and dance. I am a member of Olympian triathlon club was key to organising 'Green Glens of Antrim Triathlon' now called 'The Goat'. I am learning to play the tin whistle and enjoy trad music.
