Hi, I live in the fabulous seaside town of Whitstable, where I own 3 quirky vintage inspired boutiques. I love travelling with my husband, Adrian, walking my rather silly cockapoo, and spending time at the beach with the family . Most of all I like to sit on my beach hut veranda and watch a Whitstable sunset with friends, and of course a glass of wine! As a host, and founder of Whitstable-Holidays, I look after our eight family properties, with the help of husband Adrian and sons, Fred and Tom. We really are a local family business and love to share our very special seaside town with others. We are local and will endeavour to do all we can to make your stay a very pleasant one.

Property information

Pretty Binnacle Cottage is in a conservation area, minutes from Whitstable High Street, boasting fine eateries and shops, and West beach with its beach huts and Turner sunsets. Two charming bedrooms with painted boards, vintage finds and super comfy beds, with crisp white linen and fluffy towels. Please note the bathroom (shower over bath) is off the back bedroom *** and access is through this room only. Downstairs, a separate dining room and a snug stylish sitting room. A fully equipped kitchen leads to a pebble and decked sunny garden. Free on-street parking outside and dogs very welcome. Dogs bowls and towels provided. Please let us know at time of booking. Neighbourhood information

Binnacle Cottage is in a quiet residential street with free on-street parking right outside and in the adjacent streets. Whitstable railway station is a ten minute walk with direct and frequent trains to London. There is a bus stop very near too, with links to Canterbury and further down the coast. The Co-op is a two minute walk and a Sainsburys. Local an 8 minute walk. Local fruit and veg shops, bakers and butchers are also all at hand. And the best coffee sour dough bakery shop in town just accross the road (Grain and Hearth) All the wonderful eateries and quirky independent shops of Whitstable are very near to Binnacle Cottage and a walk down the High Street to get to Harbour Street shows off our famous thriving independent traders.
