Birch Bothy is a peaceful rural retreat set within a small hamlet about 5 miles south of the lovely market town of Hexham and a similar distance from the picturesque village of Corbridge, both with a good choice of excellent cafes and restaurants. There are loads of walks straight from the door (map and walking routes supplied) and we are within easy striking distance of Hadrian's Wall. The stunning Nothumberland coast is about an hour's drive away.
Guests have an uninterrupted view of the countryside from the terrace and access to our large herb and flower garden. The bothy is cosy, tastefully furnished to a high standard and well equipped with everything you need. We like to keep the property as spotless and welcoming as we would wish to find it. There is a small woodburner, should you wish to enjoy a real fire in the winter months. Our house is right nearby and we are on hand to help with any queries, but will leave you your privacy.
