HOMESTAY The Cottgae Grove Guest property is also where I and my 10 year old daughter live. It has been open for Guest stays for about a year now. I renovated rooms and the upper areas of the house specifically with guests in mind. It's a very relaxed and homely feel here. You will have your own code for the front door, so that you can come and go without worrying about keys. You'll find us very friendly & helpful if you need any help or advice about finding things locally. BREAKFAST Breakfast is a help yourself choice of - cereals / porridge / granola / yoghurt / croissants / toast with jam/peanut butter/marmite/hazelnut spread etc. This Booking site (rather than us) label the breakfast as "Continental" (which I appreciate would lead some to expect cooked meats and cheeses), but unfortunately we can't change the "Continental" label. BATHROOM The bathroom is a shared bathroom, but there is an additional WC & basin room on the upper floor, in addition to WC & basin room on the ground floor. There is a separate shower room coming soon though.

I've been hosting guests at my home for a number of years, both at this property and a previous house. I really enjoy meeting new people. I'm always struck at how connected and friendly everyone really is. That said, I'm very mindful of allowing guests their own privacy.

We are just a 3 minute walk away from the Albert Rd area of bars & restaurants, so you will be very central for nightlife. And the area of Southsea Palmerston Rd shopping, bars & restaurants is a 5 to 10 minute walk away. BEACH The beach is about a 10 to 15 minute walk away. Gunwharf Quays watefront marina with shops, cafes, bars & restaurants ia about a 20 min walk away.
