This house is elevated above spectacular 135 degree views of the sea and Inverboyndie Beach, a mile of perfect sand! The sight quite takes your breath away the first time and is ever a source of shifting light and changing moods. The house is in a quiet cul-de-sac on the edge of Banff, an historic town with a harbour, marina, cafes, restaurants, shops and supermarkets including the famous emporium, The Spotty Bag Shop. There are a wealth of golf courses, castles (stately and ruined) and picturesque fishing villages in the area, as well as the distilleries of Speyside which always make a fascinating tour, with tastings. This region is a beautiful blend of farmland, forest, coastline and mountains with a rich history and active cultural life: summer Highland Games are a must see! Or simply relax in the sunroom with a book and watch the birdlife hover and drift by from the comfort of your chair. The house is equipped with all you need to feel at home.

Sheena and Alastair have been welcoming guests to a home from home for many years and we pride ourselves on providing the sort of accommodation we expect to find when we are on holiday; a place that is clean, cared-for, comfortable, well-equipped and relaxing. In the house we provide a good list of recommended places to eat and things to do and sea. This includes visits to beautiful and dramatic former fishing villages, castles, beaches apart from the local Inverboyndie, such as Sandend which offers paddleboard hire and lessons. Banff has a good local museum and the newly renovated Tarlair Pool cafe is terrific. Macduff, two miles away, has an absolutely brilliant aquarium and makes for a fascinating day out. Golf, tennis, whisky tours, Highland Games, walks galore. It's a great place to holiday!
