The property was well located, just a 15 minute stroll to the coffee bars, eateries and shops. Communication from the host was excellent, and the property was dog friendly and extremely clean.

Lovely clean cottage over 4 levels. Everything was clean and comfortable. There are lots of stairs! It's about a ten to fifteen minute walk (uphill) to the centre. Good parking facilities. Perfect for our one night stay visiting family.

M cottage will give you that home-from-home feel within a traditional Bronte country stone terrace. Cosy yet spacious it has rooms over 4 floors so guests can find privacy within the cottage. *For those with young children, please be aware that 2 of the staircases are original stone* The modern, fully-equipped kitchen & dining area for 6 people also provides a great place to hang out. The spacious living room with its original stone-flagged floor provides a welcoming area to gather round the fireplace, to play games, read from our mini-library or enjoy our TV system with 1000s of free movies & TV series on-demand plus the usual BBC, etc channels. The living room can also be used as a double bedroom when the sofa bed is in use. Upstairs is the large double bedroom, whilst the attic room has 2 single beds & drawer space. The bright airy bathroom is equipped with bath & shower. The front terrace offers a place to sit & enjoy the view over the valley. We try to think of the little things so you don’t have to...complimentary tea, coffee, and toiletries can be found in the cottage as well as dog bowls and treats (if your four-legged family member is permitted). Please note: This traditional cottage is set over four floors and linked by original stone staircases, which may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. A feature of the property is the original coal bunker under the stairs in the kitchen, which gives off a faint, historic coal smell.
Guests love that the cottage is right in the heart of Haworth’s vibrant local community, with traditional pubs, independent shops, tea rooms, cafés and curiosities all just steps from the door. Nestled in the ‘real’ Haworth, away from tourist traps, you’ll enjoy authentic local life and down-to-earth prices. Just a 3-minute stroll away is the Keighley & Worth Valley steam railway, made famous by The Railway Children. From the beautifully kept Haworth station, you can hop aboard a steam train for a nostalgic ride through the countryside—perhaps with afternoon tea or during one of their popular themed events, like the Haworth Haddock or Real Ale & Steam evenings. Next to the station is Central Park, a local favourite. This peaceful green space is home to annual highlights including the Steampunk Weekend, 1940s and 1960s themed events, craft fairs, music festivals and Christmas markets. Or simply grab an ice cream, sit back and take in the views across the Worth Valley. Beyond the park lies Haworth’s famous cobbled Main Street, lined with characterful shops and cafés. You can also explore the Brontë Parsonage Museum and step into the fascinating world of the Brontë sisters. The cottage makes a great base for day trips too—with East Riddlesden Hall (National Trust) just 10 minutes away, and Bolton Abbey, Halifax’s Piece Hall, the National Science & Media Museum in Bradford (with IMAX), and Skipton’s historic market town and gateway to the Dales all within easy reach. Please note: This traditional cottage is set over four floors and linked by original stone staircases, which may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. A feature of the property is the original coal bunker under the stairs in the kitchen, which gives off a faint, historic coal smell.
