In our free time, we enjoy exploring local cafés (Avalon Café is one of our favourites!), taking walks around Southwark Park, and discovering hidden gems around Lewisham and Surrey Quays. Start your day with a coffee from the Avalon Café, just a short stroll away — a local favourite for great coffee and pastries. Getting around is incredibly easy from here: It’s just a 7-minute walk to catch Bus 225 towards Surrey Quays, and Bus P12 heading to Old Kent Road. For convenience, we highly recommend leaving a simple map inside the flat showing the walking path to the Old Kent Road bus stop — it’s a quick, easy route, but a real help for international travellers new to London transport! There’s also an e-bike parking station right near the flat, just on surrey canal road a handy and affordable option for getting around the city.
