Combe n Sea is a modern and airy 3 bedroom, 3 story town house. It has 2 bedrooms on the ground floor; 1 single and 1 double, there is also a shower room located on the ground floor. The living area is located on the middle floor which is an open plan living space, furnished with comfortable seating, a smart tv, Alexa, games and books. The kitchen area is fully equipped with all essentials including a fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher and has a spacious dining table to seat 6. This floor has patio doors to the front and the rear, showering the room with light and opening to small balconies. The upper floor is a family room with a king size bed and one single bed and a bathroom. Superfast broadband is available. There is one dedicated car parking space and there is ample extra parking on the cricket club grounds adjacent to the property. Haverigg is on the fringe of the Lakes, with Coniston being just a short drive away. The property is next to Hodbarrow which is an RSPB Nature Reserve and it is also on the coast with some stunning dog friendly beaches to walk along. You can walk Black Combe and be rewarded with stunning views, or try wakeboarding, sea fishing or go horse riding on the beach.
Although not in the National Park, Haverigg has a wonderful appeal as it is ideally located for access to Coniston, Wastwater and Windemere whilst also having coastal walks from the door with fabulous views towards the fells. Dave and I love exploring with our dog (Matilda) and can recommend many fantastic hikes in the area.
The Lakes Aqua Park and the ski bar serving food and drink (dog friendly) are a short distance away and within walking distance there are two other pubs (one serving food), a chip shop (limited opening hours), a beach cafe (limited opening hours) and Riva Galletto which serves amazing ice creams. There is also a Londis shop for supplies within easy walking distance. Approx 1 mile away is Millom where you will find more shops, banks and pubs/restaurants. The area provides perfect access for coastal walks and cycling on the doorstep and a short drive into the Lakes with Coniston being approx 35 minute drive away.
