The cottage enjoys fishing rights on the River Vyrnwy and River Severn and is adjacent to the historic 15th century St Peter's Church. Hi and welcome to River Cottage ! I love hosting people at the cottage because it's a real retreat for them, it's somewhere they can come to relax and unwind and enjoy the peace and tranquility that it offers. In my spare time I love to run, workout in the gym, mountain bike and wakeboard/wakesurf with my family. We're quite an active family and love being able to get outdoors !
Set in a fabulous rural location the cottage has fishing rights on both the River Vyrnwy and the River Severn. You can literally fish right outside the cottage. River Cottage is within a 30 minute drive of both Shrewsbury and Oswestry. St Peter's Church is located next door to the cottage; it's the oldest timber framed church in England and Wales. You can also see Rodneys Pillar from the cottage which offers spectacular views from the top. There are numerous walks in the local area and some nice pubs and restaurants to eat out at during your time at the cottage.
