Situated on the award winning Lower Mill Estate, a 500 acre private nature reserve, Oakleigh Cottage is fully equipped with 4 bedrooms (2 ensuites + family bathroom). The cottage is one of a limited number of Mill Village properties which includes complimentary access to the onsite Spa, heated indoor pool, 2 heated outdoor pools, eco pool, steam room, sauna and gym. Also to be enjoyed on the estate are tennis courts, playgrounds, children's trail, fishing, sports facilities, bike trails and lakes access. (Charges apply for equipment rental, private hire of the indoor soft play and individual spa treatments). Technology such as unlimited ultrafast fibre broadband is available to use for all your devices, plus there are Smart TVs with complimentary access to Netflix, X-box plus board games and films, and Bluetooth speaker are provided. For those who enjoy an active holiday there are varying activities available to enjoy on the lakes a couple of minutes walk from the cottage, including fishing, paddle boarding kayaking and bike hire along with various activities for families, children or adults eg yoga, paddle boarding lessons, nature exploring, and children trail and more - there's something for all ages. Our App/digital guide is sent on booking to help you make the most of your time away and we have a variety of baby/toddler equipment we can provide for your stay. In the autumn and winter months we offer a starter firewood pack for the wood burner and in the warmer months we alternate and offer a BBQ starter kit instead. We accept a maximum of two dogs over 18 months old which are house trained, well behaved and are up to date with all their vaccinations and tick/flea medication. Please note there are no fences or a secure garden area for dogs. We do not accept stag/hen parties or groups under 21 years. Due to council restrictions the property must not be used for anything other than holiday use. Guests are not permitted to commute to work from the property.

During your stay our on-site guest support team at Lower Mill, Neil and James, will be available anytime to help you during your stay to ensure you enjoy your holiday. Due to council planning restrictions, the property can only be used as holiday accommodation and therefore we do not take up local housing stock and we support the local community.

The cottage is situated on the Lower Mill Estate which is located within the area known as the Cotswold Lakes. It is a convenient location to explore the surrounding Cotswolds, with not only countryside on your doorstep but also cities and towns such as Cheltenham, Gloucester, Bath, Bristol and Oxford all accessible with good road links and a train station four miles away. Historic buildings such as Sudeley Castle (home to three queens of the Tudor period), Blenheim Palace, and Chavenage House (as seen on BBC’s Poldark) are close by including the Highgrove Royal Gardens. Many well known events take place throughout the year are nearby such as the Cheltenham Festival, The Battle Proms Concert and the Royal International Air Tattoo in Fairford. There is a numbered private parking space a few metres from the cottage and also extra parking available in over flow car parks on the Lower Mill Estate. All parking and car parks are secure within the gated estate.
