Certified by Tourism NI, Cozy at the Causeway is pet-friendly three-bedroom cottage, 50 minutes from Belfast International Airport and an hour from George Best airport and the ferry terminal. Whether you want to chill out on the beach, surf, explore the glens, or hit the golf course, Cozy at the Causeway is a great place to start your adventure. The Bushmills Distillery is just four minutes away, the Giant’s Causeway ten, and the stunning White Rocks and White Park Bay beaches not much further. You'll find us a short four-minute drive from Bushmills on the Cozies Road. We have space for 3 cars in our driveway and our closest neighbours are the cows that sometimes frequent the fields around us. The house - on the ground floor you’ll find our sun porch, a large living room with a woodburner, a country style kitchen, a shower room, utility room and chill-out room with desk. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms, one twin room and bathroom with a standalone bath. The large garden is secure and there's a firepit and garden furniture to relax on. The TV has Freeview and a DVD player, the kitchen is well stocked, and there's also a microwave, dishwasher and washer dryer.
We are James and Greer and we’re the owners of Cozy at the Causeway. We live on the Antrim Coast with our two spaniels Poppy and Evie and love the amazing adventures the area offers us on a daily basis. We hope you will too. We won't be meeting people on arrival, but will be available by phone, WhatsApp and email during your stay. Check in and Check out times can be flexible, but will still have to comply with turnaround times (sorry). Cozy at the Causeway is an old house, with an old hot water system. We will try to make sure you have all the hot water you need, but larger groups may find that they'll need to let the water heat up again if they are taking more than three showers at a time.
We love the Causeway Coast - and we're sure you will too. Just tell us what you like and we'll put together some personal recommendations on where to go and what to see - from the best running routes and dog-friendly eateries to the most stunning clifftop walks and inspirational local makers selling their wares nearby. Our favourites include Runkerry beach, Maegden Cheese & Supplies and Vittle Bakeshop. If you want to try your hand at surfing, you can hire wetsuits and get lessons from Woodies in Portrush. There are also coasteering tours around the coast if you’re feeling very adventurous. We don’t just have beaches to enjoy. If you like exploring, there’s the clifftop walk from Dunseverick harbour to the Giant’s Causeway (3.7 miles long), which has some stunning views. The Dark Hedges is great for photos and Rathlin Island is a must for bird fans. On the food front, Native Seafood is making waves on the seafood scene and Cream of the Coast is a must for ice-cream lovers. We also often walk to the bottom of our drive and turn left. You can walk down and across the Cozies Road for a lovely relaxing walk in the early evening. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
