Very homely feeling to the lodge, it didn't feel as if we were in a lodge. Very clean & we left it as we found it. It was great that there was the basic essentials in the lodge so next time we know what to bring & not to bring with us. Comfy bed,...

We are a family of 3 and have been holidaying in Aviemore for many years. We love the central highland location of Aviemore as it's only 2.5hrs from Edinburgh where we stay, 2hrs from Glasgow & 30 mins from Inverness. We are avid skiers, mountain/road bikers and walkers. We as a family love the outdoor life and hope to make many more memories and experiences.
The lodge is situated in an enviable position overlooking the Cairngorm Mountains and River Spey. It is only a few minutes walk to the shops/bars/cafes and restaurants as well as all the great outdoors within the Cairngorms National Park. The Park provides a bar with entertainment on some nights and inclusive free fishing rights on the river Spey. There are plenty of activities for everyone of all abilities to enjoy such as a visit to Landmark outdoor adventure park, golfing, hiking, cycling, skiing, climbing, kayaking, tree adventure climbing in Cairngorm National Park and the surrounding areas. Rothiemurchus is a few minutes walk from the Lodge itself.
