    Clearly a place where the hosts care, and think of everything. Lots of thought went into the decor / beds etc and you can see some of the owners personality whilst also being perfect for guests to enjoy. A lovely house and perfect for a holiday.

We love the Isle of WIght and decided to buy a holiday home. We bought an outdated, under maintained shell and renovated it from top to bottom. The idea was to turn it into an oasis of tranquility that wanted for nothing, had a beautiful high quality finish and would be somewhere we would want to return to again and again. We have replaced everything in the house from the floors up. The floors are high grade, hard wearing, beautiful grey bamboo. The bathrooms are fully tiled in travertine. The kitchen has AEG appliances and granite counter tops. There is underfloor heating and high quality oil free radiators. The furniture is leather and distressed and painted oak. There are smart, flat screen tvs in the living room and both bedrooms: all with Netflix. We love our little house and hope you will too.
We are foster parents who look after teenagers who have suffered multiple placement breakdowns. Jenny still works as a dental health educator. We love travelling and all the pictures in the house are ones we have taken on our travels. We fell in love with the Island after attending the IoW Festival for many years. Mark loves to cook and the kitchen (appliances/fittings/utensils) should be evidence of this: please take care of them. We also love our dogs and understand how difficult it is to find a good quality place to stay that allows you to take your pets.
The Victorian seaside Town of Ryde is under 4 miles away, either walking along the coastal path, passing Quarr Abbey, or just a short drive, passing through Binstead. Ryde has a wonderful golden sandy beach, with all the typical sea side attractions, On Ryde Esplanade you will discover a Marina, bowling Alley, boating lake, trampolines, children’s fun fair, ice cream parlour, café’s and restaurant’s all the way to Puckpool near Seaview. Union Street offers a superb choice of restaurants, cafés, antique and boutique shops as well. Ryde has fantastic transport links from the mainland with the catamaran, hover terminal, main bus terminal, and railway station all being close together, therefore no need to being your car. Shop 0.7 mile, Pub and Restaurants 0.6 mile. Nearest beach 0.7 mile. Nearest golf course – Ryde 3.6 miles
