Demenses View is ideally located for all the amenities of Barnard Castle. Totally refurbished this year it offers 2 double rooms with the main bedroom containing a superking bed. This bed can be altered into twins if needed. The house faces onto the Demesnes area of Barnard Castle which is a one of the towns beauty spots and a great place to picnic or sit and relax during the summer months. Both bedrooms and lounge have flat screen televisions and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need including induction hob, microwave and washing machine. Free wifi is also available for you to keep in touch and send your friends all the amazing photographs you will take during your stay. At the back of the house there is a rear yard where you can sit out on those warmer nights. There is plenty of on street parking.
Demenses View is within walking distance of all that Barnard Castle has to offer. One of the best public footpaths by the river starts within a few feet of the house, taking you on a circular walk past Egglestone Abbey, just one of the many footpaths around the town. Why not end your walk in one of Barnard Castle's many pubs or perhaps relax in one of the town's cafes and restaurants. Visit the town's castle or the famous Bowes Museum which contains a nationally renowned art collection, together with a sizeable collection of ceramics, tapestries, textiles and of course the 18th century Silver Swan, 10 minutes walk away.
