About this property
The Embankment Hotel is in a beautiful location beside the River Ouse. Only a few minutes’ walk from the town centre, this riverside setting overlooks quiet gardens and a Victorian bridge. The Embankment has a friendly pub and a dining area with a view of the Ouse. Food is served all day and drinks include real ales, wines and speciality coffees. On sunnier days you can sit outside with an afternoon cream tea. A short stroll from the Embankment Hotel is the Bedford Museum, and the award-winning Cecil Higgins Art Gallery. All bedrooms all en suite and have telephone and television. The Embankment Hotel was founded in 1891 by the Castle Brewery.
