The main cottage has 3 bedrooms and two bathroom and sleeps 6, there is also a detached annex with a double bedroom, ensuite and lounge area the cottage and annex are a package and we do not let them separately. The cottage is set up for couples and extended families. The Annex is perfect for grand parents or teenagers who want their own space or indeed for parents to escape to whilst grandparents look after the children. The cottage has been restored to the high standard and a modern extension added to the rear, with floor to ceiling glass on three sides. The extension houses the kitchen, dining and family room and benefits from amazing views of Knockendoch and Criffel hills. Brigston Cottage is one of the oldest in the hamlet. It is centrally located in the heart of Dumfries and Galloway Ideal for exploring the whole of beautiful region of Galloway which is renowned for their dark sky's which you can enjoy from the hot tub. An EV charger is available for use, to turn it on you must contact myself. The KW charge will be the unit cost set against our electric bill, we do not charge a premium you will only pay what we pay.
Hi my name is Allan, I became a full time holiday let person to fit in with bring up my 4 boys whilst my wife returned to work, I have now been running our holiday lets for 15 years. I always make sure our houses are spotlessly clean and we love to make our guests feel welcomed by leaving fabulous goodies for your arrival together with a see and do booklet giving you top tips from locals that know the area.
Access to the cottage is via a key safe attached to the door. We live a short distance away from the cottage so you will not see us unless you need us , we can pop down at anytime should you need assistance.
The cottage is part of a small hamlet of eight properties, it has the best view in the hamlet.
It is advised that guests have their own car for getting around, there is a bus route in the Milton village which has limited service. The cottage sits within its own plot beside a country road used mainly by farm traffic .
