Bringing your own boat? You can moor right outside! Don’t forget your kayaks and paddleboards to fully immerse yourself in the beauty of the Norfolk Broads. If you prefer to rent, day boats and canoes are available locally.
For fishing enthusiasts, river fishing is just a few steps away at the bottom of the decking. A bait fridge is provided in the shed—ideal for keeping bait fresh and storing fishing equipment.

Neighbourhood information
Situated in the village of Brundall, the centre for boat building and boat hire, which has its own railway station, shop/post office, mini-market, hairdresser, Chinese takeaway, fish and chip shop, pizza takeaway Indian restaurant, Cafe & bakery (in season) and local pubs serving good food.
Quaint towns, villages and beautiful beaches are close by, as are an abundance of family attractions and beauty spots to suit everyone.
The train station is just a stroll from our lodges with links to the fine city of Norwich only 8 miles away, with its excellent shopping, theatre, restaurants, inns, cafés, castle and museum or Great Yarmouth for an ice-cream on the beach and all the fun at the Pleasure Beach with rides and amusements to keep all the family happy.
Explore the surrounding seaside towns and villages, Gorleston-on-Sea, Hemsby, Caister-on-Sea, Winterton, Horsey (seal colony), California, Newport and Hopton-on-Sea, all offering entertainment for a family holiday, as well as the pretty Broadland villages and countryside.
For fun-filled family days out there is Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens with a renowned collection of Asian mammals including birds; you will also find reptiles in the pleasantly landscaped gardens. Fairhaven Woodland and Water Gardens is worth a visit, as is the village of Strumpshaw with a steam museum and RSPB reserve. For a nostalgic steam train trip from Aylesham to Wroxham, visit Bure Valley Railway. Reedham offers Pettitts Animal Adventure Park and Banham Zoo, Amazonia, BeWilderwood, Roarr Dinosaur Adventure and Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park are close by too.
